to Rep. Holt
John Robinson, CEO & President
National Minority Business Council
Thank you so much for speaking at the Procurement event yesterday. I know Rep. Holt appreciated it as well. Thanks also for staying after and talking with the participants. A lot of these businesses have never worked with the government before and I know they appreciated you answering their questions.
Thanks again and I look forward to continuing to work with you.
I wanted to drop you a quick line to let you know how much I enjoyed listening to you last night....
In closing I would like to say thank you for last night. Listening to you speak, has sparked something deep inside that has been pushed aside for quite some time. Unfortunately, I pushed it aside because of life in general; work, kids, family busy schedules etc. But, this morning, I have decided to take your advice and be an “Excuseless Person”. You have inspired me to do things differently, not only in my business, but in all aspects of my life.
My session with Dr. Stephanie Burroughs was informative and inspiring! She was knowledgeable, witty, down to earth, and personable. She really left me energized after the session, and gave me several take-a-ways that I could immediately use to more effectively build my organization. I highly recommend her to any organization or individual whether they are in search of practical know-how or just that extra push to get moving toward turning their dreams into reality.

Stephanie is a consummate professional, full of energy, and a pleasure to work with. While working with Stephanie at the National Minority Business Council (NMBC), Stephanie spent two days presenting and advising students on business development strategies regarding Federal, State, corporate and public agencies. She held brief one-on-one coaching sessions with several attendees during that day. Her willingness to get to know the participants and her interest in presenting the material was remarkable. Her customization of the presentation to the group truly made the difference and made her message much more impactful. It is rare that a speaker makes such a lasting impression, but Stephanie succeeded in doing so. NMBC would love to invite Stephanie back in 2018 for a refresher and follow up session.
In addition to business development training, Stephanie will be training individuals on improving their personal ambitions and enhancing their professional services.
